Shelby Garrett

Shelby Garrett currently serves as Prospect and Portfolio Manager at Brookfield Zoo Chicago, having transitioned from the role of Corporate and Foundation Relations Coordinator. Prior to this, Shelby worked as a Web Publication Specialist for The National Law Review. Experience also includes serving as Outreach Librarian at Arlington Heights Memorial Library and YS Librarian at Fremont Public Library. Shelby began a professional career in library services as a Circulation Assistant at the University of Illinois College of Law. Academically, Shelby holds a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) with a focus on Children and Youth Library Services and Special Collections from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the same institution.
