Sofia Rivera

Sofia Rivera currently serves as Manager of Programs, Board Liaison, and Executive Assistant to the President and CEO at the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce since January 2020, following an internship in the same department. Prior experience includes a Marketing Internship at the Pulaski Elston Business Association, where responsibilities involved fundraising, event planning, and marketing support. Additionally, Sofia worked as a Workshop Facilitator and Mentor with the Chicago Gear Up Alliance at Northeastern Illinois University, providing academic support to middle school students, and held a position as Receptionist/Office Support Specialist at Magnum Insurance. Sofia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Northeastern Illinois University, along with an Associate's degree in Business from City Colleges of Chicago-Harry S Truman College and a High School Diploma from Lake View High School.
