Chicago Shakespeare Theater
Karina Patel is an accomplished professional in the theatre and content design fields with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and History from Northwestern University. Currently serving as a Literary Associate and Assistant to the Creative Producer at Chicago Shakespeare Theater since September 2023, Karina also holds the position of New Work Manager at Jackalope Theatre Company starting January 2024. Previous experience includes roles as a Content Designer and Communications Strategist at Welcome Industries, and Senior Admissions Counselor and Global Wildcat Coordinator at Northwestern University, where extensive interaction with prospective students was facilitated. A background in design strategy was established through collaboration with benefit.design, and marketing expertise was demonstrated at the Finborough Theatre. Karina's educational journey included prestigious institutions such as TASIS The American School in England and participation in the National Youth Theatre.
