Chicago Shakespeare Theater
Phoebe Silva is an experienced professional in the performing arts and education sectors, currently serving as the Assistant Front of House Manager at Chicago Shakespeare Theater since April 2022. In this role, Phoebe coordinates accessibility performances, manages volunteer ushers, and supervises Front of House staff and operations. Previously, as an Assistant House Manager, Phoebe facilitated a positive experience for over 750 patrons and trained more than 12 volunteers. Phoebe's background includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at KIDS WORK CHICAGO INC, where lesson planning and emotional learning were central responsibilities, as well as experience as a Certified Barista at Starbucks. Earlier positions include House Manager at Broadway Sacramento, where emergency response teams were facilitated, and various roles in social media marketing and company management with FCS Players, showcasing strong organizational and communication skills. Phoebe holds a degree in Communication, specializing in Interpersonal Communication, from Wheaton College.
