Patrice Parkinson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2016, they started as a Quality Assurance and Food Safety Intern at Hooters of America. Patrice then moved on to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in 2016 as a Nutrition Technician, where they were responsible for completing daily diet education and screening patients for nutrition risk. In 2017, they returned to Hooters of America as a Quality Assurance & Food Safety Coordinator, ensuring quality and safety standards were met. In 2019, they took on the role of Global Quality Assurance, Food Safety, & Nutrition Specialist at Hooters of America. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center as a Sr. Supplier Quality Lead, focusing on poultry.
Patrice Parkinson completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Consumer Foods at The University of Georgia, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Patrice has obtained various certifications, including Genesis R&D Foods Professional Training from ESHA Research, HACCP from Food Safety Net Services, Implementing SQF Systems from NSF International, Implementing the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety & Internal Auditing from Food Safety Net Services, and a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
