Whitney Garrett Smith

Whitney Garrett Smith is a seasoned legal professional specializing in real estate law, currently serving as Sr. Counsel for Real Estate Legal - Existing Restaurants at Chick-fil-A Corporate Support Center since May 2022. Prior to this role, Whitney held positions as a Real Estate Associate at Troutman Pepper from July 2020 to May 2022 and at Troutman Sanders LLP from September 2015 to July 2020, as well as at Arnall Golden Gregory LLP from November 2013 to August 2015. Whitney's early career included involvement in the United Nations Committee Against Torture project as a Student Attorney in 2012 and internships with the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Public Defender's office. Whitney earned a Juris Doctor degree from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
