Sr. Manager Farming Operations (interim) at Chicken Farmers of Ontario

Laura Stewart has over 20 years of work experience in the agricultural sector. Laura started their career in 2001 at Terratec Environmental Ltd. as a Biosolids Coordinator, where they accurately completed Certificate of Approval applications for agricultural land application of sewage biosolids and ensured compliance with environmental conditions. Laura also maintained relationships with governmental agencies and regional authorities. In 2005, Laura joined the Chicken Farmers of Ontario as a Field Services Representative, where they worked until 2018. During this time, they were promoted to Supervisor of Farming Operations and then to Manager of Farming Operations in 2022. Laura'sresponsibilities included overseeing farming operations, ensuring compliance, and managing a team.

Laura Stewart obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph from 1995 to 1999.
