In addition, Katie is the Founder and President of Compass Counseling Ky, providing leadership and clinical expertise since 2013. Katie co-founded Compass Counseling of Owensboro, LLC in 2014 and has worked as a strategic business consultant, enhancing counseling services. Previous roles include co-founder at Practikat and Clinical Manager at The H GROUP of Kentucky. Katie's counseling experience encompasses providing in-home therapy to families and working as an Outpatient Therapist at various organizations. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Kentucky and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Western Kentucky University, complemented by a certificate in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

What started as a small takeout restaurant has quickly grown through the Southeast. Approximately 75% of Chicken Salad Chick locations are franchised with the remaining 25% being company owned.
