Joe Chey

Joe Chey has worked at three companies in the past. In 2021, they began their current role as a Product Manager at Chicory, a multi-sided contextual commerce startup. At George Mason University, they worked as a Java Developer, Web Applications/Services from 2018 to 2021. During this time, they led the design and implementation of UX solutions, researched and prioritized user pain points, and developed and maintained web applications. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Founder of Kinetic Sound, where they led a cross-functional team of more than 50 volunteer student artists and musicians, designed and produced a seamless online-to-offline arts experience, and grew membership from 3 to 50 while maintaining high member engagement.

Joe Chey attended the University of Virginia from 2014 to 2018, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Music.
