Barbie McShane

Barbara McShane, CPA, currently serves as Senior Manager of Accounting at Chief since April 2023. Prior to this role, Barbara held various positions at MyEyeDr. from June 2019 to April 2023, including Accounting Supervisor and Senior Accountant in Supply Chain and Reporting. Earlier experience includes a Staff Accountant role at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, from October 2017 to June 2019, where responsibilities encompassed tax return preparation for real estate partnerships and project management. Prior internships at Baker Tilly and the Fairfax County Water Authority involved tax preparation, client interaction, and booking transactions. Barbara began the career as a Student Assistant at Apple Federal Credit Union while completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Elon University, graduating in 2017.
