Loren Bushkar

Loren Bushkar is a seasoned professional in AI and data policy, currently serving as Principal, AI Policy at the Federal Reserve Board since January 2022, where responsibilities include analyzing and monitoring AI use at supervised firms and driving system-wide initiatives. As a Founding Member of Chief, an organization dedicated to advancing women into leadership roles, Loren contributes to empowering senior women leaders. Prior experience includes serving as Managing Director at the Institute of International Finance, where consensus was built on regulatory affairs and public policy, as well as roles at JPMorgan Chase as Executive Director and earlier positions that involved significant responsibilities in the restructuring and origination of asset-backed securities. Loren holds a Master of Science in Data Science and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and Economics from the University of Virginia.
