Mirco Govoni

Mirco Govoni is a highly experienced professional in the field of pharmacology and clinical development, currently serving as the Head of Translational & Precision Medicine in Global Clinical Development at Chiesi Group since 2009. Previously held roles at Chiesi Group include Clinical Pharmacology Program Lead, Clinical Pharmacologist, and Clinical Project Manager. Mirco's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Sciences (Pharmacology) from Karolinska Institutet, where a visiting research scientist role also occurred from 2001 to 2012. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Scientist in Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics at Nicox and a Research Scientist position at the University of Amsterdam. Additionally, Mirco holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the University of Ferrara.
