Carey Haley Wong

Chief Legal Counsel at Child Advocates, Inc.

Carey Haley Wong has work experience in various roles related to child advocacy and legal counsel. Carey began their career at the Indiana Department of Child Services, where they worked as an Attorney from October 2002 to January 2009, and later as the Chief Legal Counsel from January 2009 to January 2011. In 2011, Carey joined Child Advocates, Inc. as their Chief Legal Counsel. In 2016, they also took on the role of an Adjunct Professor at the IU McKinney School of Law - Child Advocacy Clinic, where they worked until June 2022.

Carey Haley Wong completed their education with a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communications from DePauw University, which they attended from 1995 to 1999. Carey also holds a high school diploma from Terre Haute South Vigo High School, where they studied from 1993 to 1995.
