Dede Connor

DeDe Connor is an experienced attorney, currently serving at Child Advocates, Inc. since August 2005. Prior to this role, DeDe Connor worked as a Deputy Prosecutor at the Marion County Prosecutor's Office from 1996 to 1999 and at the Hendricks County Prosecutor's Office for a brief period in 1995. DeDe Connor obtained a law degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, completing studies from 1992 to 1995, after earning a bachelor's degree from the University of Evansville, where studies were undertaken from 1988 to 1992.

We serve children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect, and we advocate for racial equity in the child welfare system and in our communities to help build a better future for all children. We fulfill our mission through four key programs: Interrupting Racism for Children, Mediation, Direct Representation, and through the child advocacy expertise of our attorneys.
