Kelly Myhls is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in child advocacy and adoption law. Currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Child Advocates, Inc. since May 2020, Kelly has previously held the position of Adoption Attorney at Hanley Myhls from 2006 until May 2020 and worked as an Attorney for the Marion County Department of Child Services from 1994 to 2006. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Indiana University Bloomington and a Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

We serve children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect, and we advocate for racial equity in the child welfare system and in our communities to help build a better future for all children. We fulfill our mission through four key programs: Interrupting Racism for Children, Mediation, Direct Representation, and through the child advocacy expertise of our attorneys.
