Jennifer Whelihan is a seasoned professional in development and marketing with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Development & Communications at Child & Family since 2019, Jennifer is responsible for planning and managing development and communication initiatives while executing comprehensive development and marketing plans. Previously, as Marketing Director at Newport County YMCA from 2017 to 2019, Jennifer led strategic marketing efforts to promote community engagement. Prior roles include Account Manager at Rhode Island Blood Center and positions in marketing at Worldways Social Marketing and Schneider Electric. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island, where initial experience was gained through internships.
