Alicia Hosmer

Alicia Hosmer has extensive experience in contracts and procurement, primarily in the nonprofit sector. Alicia has held positions such as Senior Director of Contracts and Procurement at Child Care Aware of America, where they oversaw a portfolio of over $500 million in federally funded contracts and grants. Alicia also served as the Director of Contracts and Grants at Environment & Defense Consulting, LLC, where they specialized in obtaining grants for development projects. Prior to that, they worked as a Contracts Lead Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton and as a Senior Contracts Administrator at SRA International. Alicia's early career includes roles as a Senior Project Manager at Marasco Newton Group and as a Project Manager at ICF International, where they provided federal agency support and managed projects related to environmental regulations and programs.

Alicia Hosmer attended the University of Maryland from 1983 to 1988, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature. Following their undergraduate studies, from 1988 to 1991, they attended the University of Wisconsin Law School and earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree, specializing in Contracts Law and Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law. Alicia obtained additional certifications, including being admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in May 1993 by the Bar Association of the District of Columbia. Alicia was also admitted to the Wisconsin Bar in 1991 by the State Bar of Wisconsin, and to the Maryland Bar in the same year by the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA).
