Child Care Aware of Minnesota
We are a statewide early childhood leader driving change through partnerships to build an equitable, high-quality early care and education system that meets the needs of Minnesota’s families and children. We work with integrity, honor diverse ideas and approaches, and foster a culture of respect and trust. We are child-centered and equity-driven. CCAoMN serves as the lead coordinating agency for the state’s Child Care Aware system. Through our current contract with the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), we provide leadership and expertise to the statewide network of 14 district and regional agencies in three core areas: parent engagement and education, professional growth for providers, and community engagement around child care issues. Services are provided through seven program areas: Child Care Aware Statewide Coordination Services; Parent Aware; Professional Development and Training Delivery; Financial Supports for the Child Care Workforce; Consumer Education, Marketing, and Communications; Parent Services; and Data Management.
