Heather Faanunu has extensive experience in the field of social work, primarily focused on foster care. At Child Crisis Arizona since July 2014, Heather has served as both a PSMAPP Trainer, responsible for preparing and teaching Arizona Foster Care training curriculum, and as a Foster Care Licensing Specialist, providing ongoing support and assessments to licensed foster families. Prior to this role, Heather worked as a Licensed Social Worker at Joshua D. Smith and Associates from September 2007 to August 2009. Heather earned a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University - Idaho, completing studies from 2000 to 2007.
