Karina Chavez Saravia

Karina Chavez Saravia has extensive experience in child development and advocacy, currently serving as a Program Specialist at Child Development Associates since July 2022, with roles in policy and procedure development, case management, and child care eligibility. Prior to this, Karina worked as a Family Advocate at North County Community Services - Growing Minds, and spent over seven years at Poway Unified School District as a Program Aide in Extended Student Services, where responsibilities included planning activities for children and ensuring a safe environment. Additionally, Karina completed an internship as an advocate at the San Diego Family Justice Center. Karina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from California State University-San Bernardino and has completed coursework at San Diego Miramar College.
