Heidi Smith

Heidi Smith is a seasoned professional in social work with extensive experience in family support and educational settings. Currently serving as a Care Coordinator at Child & Family Support Services, Inc. since June 2022, Heidi specializes in working with children on the autism spectrum and those diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, providing social skills therapy, maintaining medical records, and collaborating with external agencies while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Previously, as an Instructional Facilitator at Mesa Public Schools from February 2012 to May 2023, Heidi supported students according to IEP and 504 plan requirements and assisted teachers in managing student behaviors. From November 2006 to May 2010, Heidi held the position of Director of Social Services at Scottsdale Village Square, where responsibilities included conducting assessments, providing referrals, advocating for quality care, and aiding in discharge planning. Heidi holds a degree in social work from New Mexico State University, earned between 2001 and 2005.
