Shannon Johnson M.S, MFT is a therapist at the Child Guidance Center, where since September 2015, expertise has been applied to assist children and adults with mental and behavioral disorders, focusing on observing interactions and behaviors to understand family dynamics. Prior experience includes serving as a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern at Valdosta State University and Greenleaf Mental Health Clinic, where Shannon integrated Family Systems Theory in therapy, documented sessions using BIRP and SOAP formats, conducted individual and family therapy, and developed goal-oriented activities for psycho-educational groups. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
