Jeffrey Vanderploeg

Jeffrey Vanderploeg serves as the President and CEO of the Child Health and Development Institute of Connecticut (CHDI) since October 2017 and is the Owner of J.P. Behavioral Health Consulting, LLC, providing expertise in quality improvement, performance measurement, evaluation, and consultation for children's mental health and juvenile justice programs. Additionally, Jeffrey Vanderploeg has held the position of Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale University School of Medicine since 2009, with previous roles as Predoctoral Fellow, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Associate Research Scientist. From 2018 to 2021, Jeffrey Vanderploeg was the President & CEO of The Children's Fund of Connecticut and served as Vice President for Mental Health at CHDI from 2009 to 2017. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Bowling Green State University and a B.A. in Psychology from Calvin University.
