Danielle Eaves Hernandez, CPH, CCLS, CTRS, has been working as a Child Life Specialist at Community Hospice & Palliative Care since October 2008. Additionally, Danielle serves as the Northeast Florida Child Life Disaster Relief Manager at Child Life Disaster Relief, where Danielle focuses on supporting children and families in crises. Danielle holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Florida and a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from the University of Florida.

Vision: To develop a coordinated and global network to ensure that children in disasters and crises have the tools and support needed to promote positive coping and resilience. Mission: To integrate child life professionals’ expertise through partnering with global organizations to empower and support children in disasters and crises. Through utilization of play and therapeutic activities, child life specialists promote coping and resilience. Components of education, expertise, research, materials and interventions will ensure safe, respectful and effective support.
