Alexandre Franco is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of neuroinformatics and data science. Currently serving as the Head of Data Informatics and Sharing of Knowledge Core and Research Scientist at Child Mind Institute, Alexandre also holds the position of Research Scientist at Nathan Kline Institute and Research Assistant Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Prior to these roles, Alexandre was an Associate Professor at PUCRS, coordinating research at the Brain Institute of Rio Grande do Sul, and gained experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University School of Medicine under Dr. Helen Mayberg. Previous roles also include a Research Assistant at Mind Research Network and an internship at Vivo. Alexandre holds a PhD in Engineering from The University of New Mexico and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul.
