Lakshmi Jimenez

Lakshmi Jimenez is a dedicated youth advisor with extensive experience in various organizations focused on mental health, public health, and community engagement. Currently serving at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and as a student fellow at Close the Gap Foundation, Lakshmi is also involved with the Youth Mental Health Academy at the Child Mind Institute and holds a position as a Youth Council Member with Los Angeles Metro. Additional roles include membership in CHIRLA's Wise Up Core and a summer internship with Rising Communities. Previous experience includes web development at America On Tech, internships with the California Latino Capitol Association Foundation, and GRACE & End Child Poverty California. Lakshmi is pursuing dual enrollment studies at Los Angeles Trade Technical College while attending the STEM Academy at Bernstein High School, expected to graduate in 2024.
