Sophie Samuels

Sophie Samuels is an accomplished individual with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Barnard College, completed in 2023. Currently serving as a Program Intern at the Child Mind Institute since January 2023, Sophie participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and observes clinical sessions to support children and families facing mental health challenges. Previous experience includes a role as a Volunteer Extern at the Family Translational Research Group at New York University, where responsibilities included data management and participant recruitment, and serving as a Stress Line Counselor for Parents Helping Parents. Additionally, Sophie worked as a Teaching Assistant for a psychology course, held leadership positions at NJY Camps, and contributed to marketing and writing initiatives at various organizations, showcasing a diverse background in psychology, research, and community engagement.
