Patrick Averhart

Patrick Averhart is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community outreach, marketing, and grassroots activism. Currently serving as the Director of Neighborhood Insights at the Child Poverty Action Lab since August 2023, Patrick also holds the position of Program Coordinator at Big Thought. As a Co-Founder of the United Peoples Coalition, Patrick focuses on mutual aid programming and community engagement. Additionally, Patrick has co-owned NASAgang Marketing/Promotions since 2011, specializing in guerrilla marketing. Previous roles include Site Coordinator for The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, Street Team Ambassador at House of Blues Entertainment, and various positions in inventory management and marketing representation. Patrick's educational journey includes studies at Dallas College and the University of Houston-Downtown, culminating in a High School Diploma from Skyline High School.
