Jennifer Manlove

Area Director And Senior Research Scientist at Child Trends

Jennifer Manlove has extensive work experience in the field of research. Jennifer started their career in 1993 as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the National Center for Education Statistics, where they worked until 1995. In 1995, they joined Child Trends as a Research Associate and worked there until 1998. Jennifer then progressed to the role of Senior Research Scientist at Child Trends, a position they held from 1999 until their promotion in 2000 to the role of Area Director and Senior Research Scientist, where they are currently employed.

Jennifer Manlove obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Grinnell College. Jennifer then pursued further education at Duke University, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Women's Studies in 1991. Jennifer continued their studies at Duke University, completing a Master of Arts (M.A.) and a Ph.D. in Sociology between 1989 and 1993.
