Josie Pagani serves as the Chief Executive Officer of ChildFund New Zealand since November 2023, collaborating with local partners globally and in the Pacific. Pagani holds the position of Board Chair at Fairtrade Australia & New Zealand and has worked as a consultant for the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Pagani Agency, and Copenhagen Consensus Center, focusing on strategy development and governance in the Pacific. Previously, Pagani was the CEO Executive Director of the Council for International Development NZ, leading relations with Pacific nations, and contributed to the New Zealand government's Trade for All policy as an Advisory Board Member. With earlier roles including Communications Manager at OECD DAC, Pagani has a strong background in international development and policy analysis, backed by a BA Hons in English and Political Theatre from the University of Warwick and a Graduate Certificate in International Law and Legal Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.

For more than 80 years, ChildFund has been making the world a better place. A lot has changed since 1938, but our purpose has stayed the same: we help children and youth thrive. We create a well-planned Road Maps for change in our dedicated communities, so that everyone knows the plan and helps to make it happen.
