Chamika Hodges-Jackson has extensive experience in early childhood education, currently serving as a Teacher at Guilford Child Development since January 2020. Prior to this role, Chamika worked at EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER INC from May 2008 to January 2020, holding positions as a Preschool Teacher and Teacher. Chamika earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, completing the degree in 2008.

For 55 years, we have been a trusted leader in early childhood education, and training for parents and child care providers in Guilford County. Over the years, our focus has grown to include comprehensive, family-centered programs promote educational excellence, health and well being, community engagement, job readiness and life-skills training. Children & Families First is proud to serve over 6,000 low-income families each year through these programs: Head Start and Early Head Start, Regional Child Care Resources & Referral, Nurse-Family Partnership, Learning Together Family Literacy, The Family Success Center, and the High Point Opportunity Center
