Regenia Graves has over two decades of experience in early childhood education, currently serving as an Early Head Start Teacher at Guilford Child Development since July 2004. Prior to this role, Regenia was the Managing Director at Baynes Happy Day Nursery School from November 1994 to June 2001, where responsibilities included overseeing center operations. Additionally, Regenia served in the US Army from September 1983 to September 1986. Education includes a degree in Early Childhood Education from Guilford Technical Community College, attended from 1994 to 1996, and completion of secondary education at James B Dudley High School.

For 55 years, we have been a trusted leader in early childhood education, and training for parents and child care providers in Guilford County. Over the years, our focus has grown to include comprehensive, family-centered programs promote educational excellence, health and well being, community engagement, job readiness and life-skills training. Children & Families First is proud to serve over 6,000 low-income families each year through these programs: Head Start and Early Head Start, Regional Child Care Resources & Referral, Nurse-Family Partnership, Learning Together Family Literacy, The Family Success Center, and the High Point Opportunity Center
