Children First Fund
Julia Friedland is a Development Specialist at Children First Fund since March 2022 and has been a Grant Developer at Chicago Public Schools since January 2018, where responsibilities include identifying grant opportunities, developing project plans, and assisting with grant writing and submissions. Previous experience includes positions as a Researcher at BallotReady, where election data was researched and organized, and as a High School Coach with College Possible, leading sessions to enhance students' application materials and SAT scores. Julia has also worked as a Content Editor for CommonLit, created educational content as a Teaching Assistant at the Summer Institute for the Gifted, and served as a Lifeguard/Unit Counselor and Rock Hill Camp Program Manager with Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson, Inc. Julia Friedland holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago.
