Kari Long's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Kari started their career at United Way of Lincoln and Lancaster County as an Administrative Assistant from July 2009 to June 2010. Afterwards, they worked at Park University as a Financial Assistance Specialist from June 2010 to April 2012, and later as a Financial Aid Counselor from April 2012 to April 2014. Kari then joined IntegriShield in June 2014 as an Account Service Team Lead/Compliance Analyst until January 2017, and later as an Account Manager from August 2016 to January 2017. Currently, they are working at Children International, starting as an IT Administrative Specialist from January 2017 to January 2020, then as a Global Communications Strategist from February 2020 to January 2022, and currently holds the position of IT Strategic Communications Lead from January 2022 onwards.
Kari Long obtained a Master's Degree in Communication and Leadership from Park University in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations from Northwest Missouri State University from 2005 to 2009. In addition, they hold a Strategic Communication Certificate from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), which was obtained in 2023.
