Children Now
Sara Ortega, MPH, has a strong background in public health policy and advocacy. Sara has experience working in various roles such as Special Assistant to the President, Manager of Policy and Engagement, and Associate Director of Strategic Initiatives at Children Now. Sara has also interned at Piedmont Health Services Inc, UC Berkeley School of Public Health, U.S. House of Representatives, Kaiser Permanente, and Mchugh and Mchugh LLP, gaining valuable experience in healthcare strategy, policy research, and administrative support. Sara holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
