Melissa Lopez

Melissa Lopez, MBA, is an experienced Human Resources Manager currently working at Children of Promise, NYC since October 2020. Previously, Melissa served at ASPIRA of New York from March 2011 to October 2020 in various roles, including Program Director, where responsibilities included implementing and executing the Middle School 21st Century Community Learning Center program and overseeing all personnel related to the initiative. Earlier positions at ASPIRA encompassed Assistant Director and Academic Advisor, focusing on daily program operations and academic support for students. Melissa began tenure at ASPIRA in October 2007 as a Leadership/Youth Development Specialist. Melissa holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from Mercy University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from John Jay College (CUNY).
