Jordan Riber

Jordan Riber is an accomplished filmmaker and producer with extensive experience in documentary and narrative film production focused on Indigenous stories and social issues. Currently serving as Head of Productions at Children of the Setting Sun Productions since October 2019, Jordan has led projects such as "The Sound," a coming-of-age drama, and "Our Sacred Obligation," which addresses the Yurok Tribe’s history. With over a decade of experience at Media for Development International, Jordan has successfully devised numerous multimedia projects, including feature films and educational campaigns in Tanzania. Earlier roles include communications consultancy for Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs and videography for the BBC. Jordan holds a BA in Film/Cinema/Video from Western Washington University.
