Karen Ewing, MS, LPC, is an experienced clinical therapist with a focus on trauma and abuse counseling for children and adults, currently working at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County since August 2015 and also at PAYSON COUNSELING GROUP since October 2019. Previously, Karen spent nearly two decades in various roles at Publicis, including Business Affairs Manager and Creative Department Manager, overseeing talent negotiations, production contracts, and project management while contributing to new business initiatives. Educationally, Karen holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Commerce, along with earlier studies at Texas Tech University and Collin College.
Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County provides safety, healing and justice for children victimized by abuse or neglect in our community. We envision a community free from child abuse. The Center utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach to facilitate the investigation, treatment and prosecution of child abuse. Working collaboratively with law enforcement and Child Protective Services, the Center brings all services to abused children under one roof to minimize additional trauma to vulnerable children. Each year, more than 3,300 children and non-offending family members receive help from the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County because of allegations of abuse or neglect. All children deserve the chance to heal. There are no waiting lists, and our services are offered free of charge for as long as help is needed.
