Katie Miller Ms, Lpc Associate

Katie Miller, MS, LPC Associate, serves as a Clinical Therapist at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County since February 2022, following a role as a Clinical Intern Therapist at the same organization from January to December 2021. Previous experiences include positions as an Assistant Guide at Guidepost Montessori and a Family Advocate Intern at the Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County. Additionally, Katie has worked as a Yoga Instructor at Sunstone Yoga and as a Yoga Therapist at Kid Talk Counseling, where responsibilities included instructing yoga and meditation to children with special needs and mental health challenges. Katie Miller holds a Master's degree in Counseling and Development and a Bachelor's degree in General Studies, both from Texas Woman's University, along with a 500-hour RYT certification from Sunstone Yoga Academy.

Children's Advocacy Center of Collin County

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County provides safety, healing and justice for children victimized by abuse or neglect in our community. We envision a community free from child abuse. The Center utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach to facilitate the investigation, treatment and prosecution of child abuse. Working collaboratively with law enforcement and Child Protective Services, the Center brings all services to abused children under one roof to minimize additional trauma to vulnerable children. Each year, more than 3,300 children and non-offending family members receive help from the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County because of allegations of abuse or neglect. All children deserve the chance to heal. There are no waiting lists, and our services are offered free of charge for as long as help is needed.
