Ellen Elias

EVP, Community Engagement & Prevention at Children's Aid and Family Services

Ellen Elias is currently the SVP, Prevention and Community Services at Children's Aid and Family Services. Ellen has devoted their career to helping others, working as a counselor, trainer, and consultant with the NY Board of Education and other schools, the Bergen County jail, and with treatment providers and community-based service organizations in New York and New Jersey. In 1998, they established the Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources, which has become THE prevention resource center in Bergen County, offering programs, support and expertise to the community. Ellen has built relationships with local, state and national entities including community stakeholders, private foundation and public grant funders, prevention leaders, community based agencies, law enforcement and elected officials.

Ellen Elias has a Master of Arts from NYU in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services and a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Albany in Psychology.

Ellen Elias reports to Robert B. Jones, President & CEO. Ellen Elias works with Donna Kennedy - SVP, Disability Support Services, Jo Ponticello - VP, Children’s Services, and Edith Fiato - VP, Development.
