Cheryl Marks has extensive experience in marketing within the music industry and community service. Cheryl served as Vice President of Urban Marketing at TVT Records from 2001 to 2005 and later held the position of Vice President of Marketing at Sony Music Entertainment from April 2007 to August 2016, where responsibilities included creating and implementing marketing plans for notable Gospel artists such as Kirk Franklin and Donnie McClurkin. Prior to this, Cheryl was the Director of Marketing at Jive Records from 1991 to 2000. Since October 2016, Cheryl has been the Community School Director at Children's Aid. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Howard University, earned between 1987 and 1991.
