Salary: $48,730.50-$51,698.21

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Payment Manager, the Payment Services Technician efficiently and accurately processes monthly provider attendance sheets and related reports. The Payment Services Technician possesses the skills and abilities to multi-task with ease, work independently in a structured environment and contribute to the achievement of the highest degree and accuracy of our work and ensure best service possible to clients and childcare providers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In a timely and accurate manner, receives, organizes and audits monthly attendance sheets and calculates childcare payments.
Accurately processes scanned attendance sheets and follows the payment timeline.
Researches and resolves errors regarding incorrect or missing attendance sheets and payments, reaching out to providers as needed.
Clarifies, resolves and provides information regarding issues related to client’s childcare payments to the Family Services Specialist and provider support staff.
Assist with the issuance of attendance sheets to childcare providers including but not limited to: printing, copying, sorting, stuffing and mailing.
Work with childcare providers and assigned Family Services Specialists to ensure that all payment procedures are properly followed.
Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal and local policy regulations, correspondence and reports for audit and information purposes.
Collaborates with other Child Care Family Services Department functions and agency staff on routine and special projects and events.
Generate internal reports as needed to ensure completion of follow-up items, submission of attendance records, payment adjustments, etc.
Work on long-term projects to support the department as assigned by the supervisor.
Keeps current on childcare regulations and disseminates any information regarding changes to parents and providers.
Maintains communication with the childcare provider community regarding the childcare needs of clients, including policies and procedures of the program.
Participate in the efforts for continuous improvement through feedback loops, process and system improvement, and transformational customer service.
Demonstrates and holds individual and collective work to the highest level of integrity.
Attends and proactively participates in meetings relevant to service delivery and staff professional development.
Assist with front desk coverage as needed.
Meet or exceed personal and team performance rates for payment accuracy, client satisfaction, and other metrics as applicable
Other related duties as assigned.
