Elaine Lai

Elaine Lai has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Elaine has recently served as the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting at the Children's Council of San Francisco. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Finance and Accounting at the same organization. Elaine also has experience as a Finance Consultant for a non-profit organization, where they assessed and evaluated accounting practices and staffing resources. Earlier in their career, Elaine worked as the Director of Finance and Controller for the Community Housing Partnership, overseeing accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting functions. Elaine has also held Controller positions at Mattermark and Give Something Back Office Supplies. Elaine began their career as a Staff Accountant at Yuen and Liu, CPAs, where they prepared financial statements and assisted with auditing. Elaine holds a wealth of experience in financial management and has contributed to the success of various organizations throughout their career.

Elaine Lai holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from San Francisco State University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Quickbooks Online Certified ProAdvisor from quickbooks intuit support 1-800-986-3790 in October 2017. Elaine also holds an Excel Certificate for financial modeling, a Fixed Income Certificate, and an Introduction to Corporate Finance certificate, all of which were obtained in August 2017 from the Corporate Finance Institute®. Additionally, they are enrolled in the NFP Certificate Program offered by AICPA.
