Children's Creativity Museum
Carol Tang serves as the Executive Director of the Children's Creativity Museum since January 2015, leading efforts to foster creativity and collaboration among children and families through diverse programming and exhibitions. Prior experience includes positions at the S.D. Bechtel, Jr. Foundation as a Program Officer for STEM in OST, where Carol oversaw a team managing grants focused on youth development and education, and as the Director of the Coalition for Science After School, promoting STEM education nationally. At the California Academy of Sciences, Carol held several leadership roles, including Director of Public Programs and Director of Visitor Interpretive Programs, significantly impacting educational programming and exhibitions. Carol's academic background includes a Ph.D. and MS in Geological Sciences from the University of Southern California, along with a BA in Paleontology from the University of California, Berkeley.
