John Henry

John Henry currently serves as Media Relations Manager at the Children's Defense Fund since July 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Multimedia Journalist at WUSA-TV from June 2016 to June 2023, KSDK - 5 On Your Side from June 2014 to June 2016, and WBIR-TV from May 2011 to June 2014, where John covered a diverse range of topics such as local and national politics and climate change. Earlier positions include multimedia storytelling and digital content creation at KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW, WLWT, ABC7 News Bay Area, and KBIA 91.3 FM, as well as editorial work for The Maneater during academic years. John holds dual degrees in Journalism and History from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
