Children's Dental Services
Ellen Black is a dedicated pre-dental student with a strong background in biochemistry, having earned a Bachelor of Arts from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University in 2015. Currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, Ellen has gained valuable experience as an intern at Children's Dental Services since June 2014, and has contributed to research as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University, focusing on synthesizing polyurethanes for dental applications. Prior to this, Ellen worked as a farmhand at Jennie-O Turkey Store from June 2011 to May 2014.

Children's Dental Services
Since 1919, Children's Dental Services is dedicated to improving the oral health of children from families with low incomes by providing accessible treatment and education to our diverse Minnesota community. CDS provides a full range of dental services to children from birth until age twenty-one and to pregnant women.
