Sara Mitten-Harris

Sara Harris has been an employee of Children’s Discovery Center since 2001, and has held previous positions as teacher and administrator. She has her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Kentucky. Mrs. Harris has been an creative environment consultant for child care facilities in Ohio and Pennsylvania as well as for Kaplan Early Learning Company. She is the co-author of twelve children’s books in addition to Inspiring Spaces for Young Children, and Rating Observation Scale for Inspiring Environments.
