Eamonn Blake

Eamonn Blake has a strong background in auditing, with over 18 years of experience. Eamonn currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit at Children's Health Ireland (CHI) since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at St. James's Hospital Dublin from April 2017 to October 2022. Before moving into the healthcare sector, Eamonn worked at BDO Ireland as a Manager - Internal Audit from May 2015 to April 2017. Eamonn also gained valuable experience at Mazars Ireland, where they served as an Internal Audit Assistant Manager from September 2011 to April 2015 and as an Internal Audit Executive from November 2008 to August 2011. In addition, they worked as an Internal Auditor at Grafton Group plc from October 2007 to October 2008 and as an Audit Senior at KPMG Ireland from October 2004 to October 2007.

Eamonn Blake has a Diploma in Risk Management, Internal Audit and Compliance from Chartered Accountants Ireland, which they obtained in 2019. Eamonn also holds a Diploma in Internal Audit from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors, earned in 2011. In 2006, Eamonn completed their Final Exams at Chartered Accountants Ireland. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Accounting from Dublin City University between 2003 and 2004, after obtaining their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the same university between 2000 and 2003.
