Julia Prinzi, MS, CGC, is a Certified Genetic Counselor specializing in Pediatric Cardiology at Children's Heart Center Nevada since August 2023. Previously, Julia worked as an ABA Behavioral Interventionist at Center for Thoughtful Lasting Change, Inc., where responsibilities included creating individualized behavior plans for children with Autism spectrum disorder and ADHD, as well as counseling parents on Applied Behavior Analysis. Julia also served as a Clinical Research Intern at Canvas Health, Inc., contributing to the establishment of a genetic testing company and raising awareness of rare diseases. Earlier roles included a Lab Assistant at The Scripps Research Institute, where research focused on the neural substrates of motivated behavior, and a Research Assistant at the Institute Basic Research, investigating neurodegeneration mechanisms. Julia holds a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from the University of Utah School of Medicine and a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from UC San Diego.
