Heather Brungardt

Heather brings nearly two decades of health care and nonprofit leadership experience, including executive leadership experience at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, American Academy of Family Physicians, Kansas City Free Health Clinic, and, most recently, Partners in Care Foundation in California. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated success in designing and implementing systems within community-based services, streamlining services to improve fiscal results, and improving clinical productivity while reducing turnover. She also has expertise in health care financing and policy and has a proven track record in advancing behavioral health initiatives. She is past president of the National Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care and served on the Board of Directors for eight years.
